I decided to do an independent tour of Morocco in March 2011 for 3 weeks.
I live in Philadelphia and I took a plane to Casablanca from New York.
I wanted to go to Morocco for several years and finally my stars aligned.
Unfortunately nobody from my family or friends was able to travel with me
but that has never stopped me from traveling. I enjoy going alone as much as
I enjoy having company, I always end up meeting wonderful people wherever I go.
I choose Morocco for several reasons, they speak French and Arabic, I can communicate in French. They have a millennial history and Architectural UNESCO cities.
It is in North Africa and has many different flora and fauna, it is very green and it is very dry depending on the area, it is mountainous and it is rocky and it has valleys and it is flat, and it is on the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean so it has a coastline. So it is very diverse.
It was a rewarding experience. In the pictures you can see many different
landscapes and ancient architecture.
